The Challenge:

The newly built hotel in Junagadh required a wireless network to provide seamless Wi-Fi Internet connectivity to its guests. The hotel was seeking a solution which would be aesthetically acceptable, cost-effective and would solve their problems with regards to internet connectivity and wireless reach.

• The wireless network must cover 59 guest rooms and the entire hotel premises with no Wi-Fi dead zones.
• Solution should be scalable, easy to manage and cost effective

The Solution:

The client’s IT team wanted to provide high speed internet connection wirelessly to 59 rooms spread across five floors, corridors and outdoor premises. After a comprehensive site survey DIGISOL’s team designed the IT infrastructure which involved positioning DG-WM520TWI INWALL Access Point in each room, and 11 DG-WM6305SIE2 CEILING Access Points in corridor on each floor. All the access points were smartly powered via the DIGISOL Gigabit PoE+ switches DG-GS1528HP (2 no. on each floor).

To offer seamless connectivity in outdoor areas like lawns and pool, DG-WA7910P OUTDOOR Access point was deployed. Further, switches placed on floor were connected to a Digisol DG C-PP6U2L-1A-T Patch Panel and DG-WU2008 Wireless Controller placed in server room.
