– Access 192.168.2.1 >> Login with the username as admin and the password as 1234 >>
– Change the MTU value in PPPoE settings to 1492 >> Apply >> apply
– Keep reducing the MTU values by 10 till 1400 and check if you can access the web page
Access 192.168.2.1 >> Login with the username as admin and the password as 1234
– Click on general setup
– Go to WAN > Click on Dynamic
– Click on Clone MAC address
– Apply and click on Apply again to save the settings.
Try to access internet>>>>Success
To configure Wireless settings:
– Click on General setup > Wireless
– Basic Settings > Change the SSID > Apply > Continue.
– General setup > Wireless
– Security Settings > Enable > select the encryption as WPA-preshared key > Enter the password in the pre-shared key (should be more than 8 characters)
– Apply and click on apply again to save the settings.
Follow the steps below to upgrade firmware on DG-BR4000NG.
– Download the firmware and save it on the desktop.
– Connect system to the LAN port of router.
– Open configuration page of router.
– Go to Tools > Select Firmware Upgrade.
– Click on Next.
– Browse and select the firmware file.
– Click on Apply.
– Once the firmware is upgraded configure router and verify.
– Open internet explorer and type 192.168.2.1 in the address bar. Press enter. Type admin as the username and password 1234.
– Click on Wireless
– Basic setting > Radio ON > Wifi On > Broadcast enable > Apply
– Click on General setup > Wireless
– Basic Settings > Change the SSID > Apply > Continue.
– General setup > Wireless
– Security Settings > Enable > select the encryption as WPA-preshared key > Enter the password in the pre-shared key (should be more than 8 characters)
– Apply and click on apply again to save the settings.
