How to configure DG-BR4400AC (H/W:A, F/W:1.01)in Repeater Mode
– Click on General Setup.
– Click on 2.4GHz & then Click on “Basic Setting”.
– Select Mode as “Universal Repeater”. Then Click on “Site Survey”.
– Select one access point in the table & click on “Connect” and the router will join wireless LAN through this access point.
– Click on “Apply”.
– Click On “Continue” & then Click on “Security Settings”.
– Select the “Security Type” & enter the “Wireless Key” which is same as configured on Root AP / Router.
Then click on “Apply”.
– Click On “Continue” & then Click on “LAN”.
– Assign an IP address to the repeater which is in same subnet / network as that of Root AP / Router & Disable the “DHCP Server”.
Then click on “Apply”.
– Click on “Apply” to reboot the repeater.
– Now Repeater is successfully connected with the main AP/ Router.
Note : You can follow same steps for 5GHz.
