Kindly do the following steps:-
Connect DG-WR3001N(LAN)——–>PC.
– Open the configuration page of the AP (192.168.2.1). Login with Username: admin, Password:1234. Click on login.
– Change the SSID, Channel no:11, Click on Next.
– Encryption:WPA pre-shared key, WPA Unicast Cipher Suite: WPA (TKIP)
Pre-shared key format: Passphrase > Key: Enter your password (min. 8 characters)
– Click on Apply.
Connect the DG-WR3001N wired to your router.
Try to access internet wirelessly…………..Success.
– Switch mode selector to “Repeater” and connect to the power socket
– Scan for the wireless network named DIGISOL
– Try connecting to the wireless network
– Access the configuration page with IP Address 192.168.2.2
– Select the existing wireless network which you want to connect>>> Click on Next
– Enter the security key >>> Click on Next
– Click on Apply
– Scan for the security enable wireless network
– Try connecting to the wireless network
– Verify the signal strength
– Check for internet connection wirelessly
– Switch mode selector to “Repeater” and connect to the power socket
– Scan for the wireless network named DIGISOL
– Try connecting to the wireless network
– Access the configuration page with IP Address 192.168.2.3
– Select the existing wireless network which you want to repeat >>> Click on Next
– Enter the security key >>> Click on Next
– Click on Apply
– Scan for the security enable wireless network
– Try connecting to the wireless network
– Verify the signal strength
– Check for internet connection wirelessly
Note:Make sure you deploy the DG-WR3001N device in such a way that you are getting 50% signal from the existing router.
