Deny Wireless clients:
We would like to inform you that you can block a particular wireless client from connecting to the router. You can do the following steps:-
Step 1: Open internet explorer and type 192.168.1.1 in the address bar. Press enter. Type admin as the username and password.
Step 2: Click on Network >> WLAN >> Access Control.
Step 3: Under MAC address, enter the MAC address of the wireless client that you want to block. Click on Add.
Step 4: Follow steps 3 for entering all the MAC addresses that you want to block.
Step 5: Under Wireless Access Control mode, select “Deny Listed”.
Step 6: Click on Apply Changes.
Kindly follow the steps given below to Configure for 3G:
Step 1: Enter 192.168.1.1 on the address bar and log in with the username/ pasword as admin / admin
Step 2: Go to Network >> WAN >> 3G
Step 3: Under APN type airtelgprs.com, Dial number as *99# and username and password should be blank
Step 4: Click on Apply Changes
Step 5: Reboot the router
Step 6: Check if the Internet LED is Green and try to access internet
Configure DG-BG4100NU in PPPoE mode
Step 1: Enter 192.168.1.1 on the web browser and login with username as admin and password admin / admin
Step 2: Click on Network > WAN > At the end of the page delete the existing entries
Step 3: Move on top of the page. Enter the VPI:0/VCI :35 (for bsnl)
Step 4: Channel mode: PPPoE
Step 5: PPP settings Enter the Username/password provided by ISP
Step 6: Click on ADD
Step 7: Go to Admin > Commit changes > Save current Configuration > Reboot
Check for the Internet Line to be Green after reboot. If Red then verify username and password from the ISP.
Port forwarding on DG-BG4100NU
Step 1: Enter 192.168.1.1 on the web browser and login with username as admin and password admin
Step 2: Go to Advanced > NAT > Virtual Server
Step 3: Select User defined service name>>>Give any name
Step 4: Protocol: TCP, Wan Settings: Interface, Wan Interface: PPPoE1
Step 5: WAN Port: Enter the port number to be opened (eg: 80)
Step 6: LAN Port : Re-enter the same port number as in WAN port
Step 7: LAN IP Addres:Enter the LAN IP of the device for which you want to open ports
Step 8: Click on Apply Changes
Step 9: Click on Admin >> Commit/Reboot >> save the current configuration >> commit changes >> reboot
Try to access the device over the internet.
Configure EWAN > Static IP
Step 1: Enter 192.168.1.1 on the web browser and login with username as admin and password admin / admin
Step 2: Click on Network > WAN > Ethernet WAN (Port LAN1)
Step 3: At the end of the page delete the existing entries
Step 4: In channel Mode select : IPOE
Step 5: WAN IP settings: Select “Fixed IP”
Step 6: Enter local IP, remote IP and the netmask provided by ISP
Step 7: Click on ADD
The entry will be added in the WAN Interface table
Step 8: Click on Service > DNS
Step 9: Select “Set DNS manually”
Step 10: Enter the DNS1 and DNS2 as provided by ISP
– Connect the ISP to “LAN-1” port of the router
– Request ISP to bind the MAC address of the router, if there is MAC binding from ISP end
– Check the internet connectivity through router

Configure Wireless settings
Step 1: Enter 192.168.1.1 on the web browser and login with username as admin and password admin
Step 2: Click on Network > WLAN > Basic > Change the SSID > Click on Apply changes.
Step 3: Click on Network > WLAN > Security > Select WPA TKIP > Enter the password in pre-shared key and it should be more than 8 characters >
Step 4: Apply Changes.
Step 5: Scan for the wireless network with the above SSID and try to connect with the defined password.
Configure Wireless settings on DG-BG4100Nu
Step 1: Enter 192.168.1.1 on the web browser and login with username as admin and password admin
Step 2: Click on Network > WLAN > Basic > Change the SSID > Click on Apply changes.
Step 3: Click on Network > WLAN > Security > Select WPA TKIP > Enter the password in pre-shared key and it should be more than 8 characters >
Step 4: Apply Changes.
Step 5: Scan for the wireless network with the above SSID and try to connect with the defined password.
